ABOUT Continuing Education Credit
Continuing Education (CE) Credit approval is a comprehensive process that requires a detailed application, review by a group of qualified discipline specific professionals, and a follow-up evaluation of the course presentation.
Continuing Education Credit is based on the number of contact hours of learner interaction with the content of a learning activity. Learning activities may include classroom instruction, self-paced home study, pre/post assignments and/or homework associated with a learning activity. A contact hour is typically equal to one clock hour or 60 minutes but may be equal to 50 minutes based on the credentialing organization from which credit is requested
One Continuing Education Unit (CEU) represents 10 hours of education provided either in a training series format, an integrated experience at a conference, or a distance learning experience following a prescribed curriculum.
